Welcome! ~ Velkommen! Here, in my little corner of bloglandia, is my blog about my crafts. Until recentley I've blogged about my card making. Now, in 2011, I'll try to do different things also, such as sewing (patchwork), knitting, crochet, baking, along with some card making... . . . . . . . . . . .. . . . . . . . . . . . .. . . .. .. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .Audღ
A new card with one of the wonderful AngelEyes stamps by Kreativ Hobby, (they take international orders). This lovely image is called Angelina, colored her with my Prismas. Didn't add too much embellishments on my card, wanted the beautiful velvet paper to show. I'm entering this card to the Magical Monday Challenge blog, they ask for flowers on the cards.
Take a look at the wonderful cards made by my DT sisters over at the Friday Sketchers blog, hope you'll find inspiration to make a card and take part in the challenge, there's a great prize to win sponsored by Simon Says Stamp.
Sometimes it's just not possible to mix family life/obligations with crafting, and then it's the crafting that's put on hold for a while. Well, I sure enjoyed working with this fab sketch made by Beatrix for challenge # 116 over at the Friday Sketchers blog. On my card I used one of the sweet Aurora stamps by SCACD, this image is called Out On the Town. Colored with my Prismacolor pencils. The sentiment is by Whipper Snapper Designs.

Some exciting news! There will be a new stamp release at SCACD on Friday 27th, designed by fabulous Elisabeth Bell. As usual there's lovely blog candy over at the Follow Your Heart blog, starting Sunday 22nd! There will be sneak peeks on the DT blogs the three days before the release!
Made a card for the challenge over at the Stamp Something challenge blog, this week they ask for Fairy Tale Somethings. I used the wonderful Princess image from the AngelEyes colletion by Kreativ Hobby. Colored her with my Prismacolor pencils, MCP technique. Didn't put too much stuff on the card, wanted the image to be the focal point.
If you like these AngelEyes images, you have a chance to win two of them by entering the Friday Sketchers challenge, Kreativ Hobby is the sponsor this week!

A great new Friday and a new card for the Friday Sketchers blog! This time it's my sketch we're using! I made a simple sketch, that's how I like them. *LOL*
I used one of the new, fabulous stamps by Kreativ Hobby, Sweetie from the AngelEyes collection. They are Norwegian, both the designer (Annika) and the manufacturer, I love that! The sentiment is a ticket stamp by Autumn Leaves, I cut off the ends to make it fit my card better. On the butterflies I used Swarkovski crystals, they really sparkle IRL, like diamonds!

I think this Sweetie image looks a lot like Abby in the TV series NCIS,
Pauley Perrette is the actors name, she's so cute!
A detail, I added glitter glue (or Stickles if you like) in the eye holes of the scull charm, looks cool! Got the idea from my friend Hannemor. (Thanks hun!)
Finally - a small tip from me: When I distress paper edges, I use a pair of sharp scissors, no need to get a edge scraper tool for this. I do have one, but never use it - the scissors is far better to use to get the result I want!
Well, no, not really! *LOL* Just wanted to show you how clumsy me fixed things the other day, when I accidently snapped some flowers off my blooming orchid... The stem is really short, but I wanted a tall vase, so I asked one of my boys if I could borrow some marbles from him. I put them into the vase, added water and flowers - voila! Looks nice, I think!
I'm back from Denmark, but still have vacation the next two weeks. We had a wonderful time away, will share some pictures later on.
Now, here's a new card, must admit I'm feeling a bit rusty getting into the crafting mood again, but I did manage to make a card! *LOL*
This week we are to use Flower Soft on our TIOT cards at the SCACD design team. I used one of the new wonderful stamps, Aurora - Nuts For You - The Sequel, from the Aurora 2 Collection. I colored her with my Prismas, first time I tried the out-of-the-box technique with Nestabilities to get her hat "sticking outside" the circle. The Autumn Flower Soft was perfect for my card, I made a soft ground for the two cuties.
On the company blog Follow Your Heart you can see all the wonderful projects by the rest of the DT ladies!
:o) ~ ♡ ~ ♡ ~ ♡ ~ ♡ ~ ♡ ~ ♡ ~ ♡ ~
I have three sons, I live in Trondheim, Norway. I’m a registered nurse. I'm 49 years old. I’ve been stamping for many years, mostly I'm now knitting and sewing, but I can’t be as active as I wish, there’s too little time, and I do not have a crafting room – that’s on the top of my wish list! :o)
