Here, in my little corner of bloglandia, is my blog about my crafts. Until recentley I've blogged about my card making. Now, in 2011, I'll try to do different things also, such as sewing (patchwork), knitting, crochet, baking, along with some card making...

On my card I used the lovely image called Walk in the Park, colored with my Prismas, MCP technique, cut her out with Nestabilites dies. Added mini Prima roses, Karen Marie Klip lazer cut butterflies, some Kaisercraft pearls and punched leaves. The flower paper is from a BasicGrey pad. (Green at Heart)

It's the first time I try this fun folding technique, it wasn't hard at all! I found the template at (Marianne's) Sakkalo's blog.

Vacation! Denmark - here we come!

Today we start our vaction, we'll drive to Oslo and spend two days there before heading to Denmark. We'll get season passes for Djurs Sommerland, a big amusement park, and then we pretty much have our days cut out for us! *LOL*
We've been there several times before, and the kids love it there, we do too!

Normally we go island hopping in Greece every summer, but this year I have my vacation so late. There's too hot for us in Greece now, too crowded with tourists. And with the recent problems with strikes in Greece, airplanes never coming or leaving, we decided not do that trip this summer. We'll miss it like crazy, and it will be hard not visiting our Greek friends, but we will have an extra long stay there next year.

By all means - we LOVE Denmark too, we are really looking forward to this vacation!
I will not have acess to the internet while I'm away, but I have a couple of cards scheduled for my blog this Friday, and some sweet stuff coming on Sunday, so make sure you stop by to see what it is!

See you later!

So make sure you stop at BOTH store Blogs SCACD, Follow Youre Heart and Quixotic Paperie Inspirations. You will have a chance to win a set of 3 of the most popular Pens - (Ice White Pearl pen, Holographic Glitter pen and the Clear Gloss gel pen). On my card I used the sweet mermaid Marina by Kraftin' Kimmie stamps from SCACD, colored with my Prismas. I've added Stickles to the fins on both Marina and her fish friend, but the photos doesn't show it much...On the "seafloor" of my card I used chunky glitter by Martha Stewart, just perfect, I think! (You can get this fun product at SCACD now with a large discount!)

The tiny star fishes are Cuttlebug die cuts that I put Viva Glitter Liner on.
(For us here in Europe Viva products can be found here at Elaine's Quixotic Paperie.)
My bubbles are lovely Kaisercraft Rhinestones, they can be used for so many things these little gems, love 'em!The Marina stamp can be found along with other great Kraftin' Kimmie stamps right here at Quixotic Paperie.

Here I'll show you how I made my shell:
I cut it with the fab Spellbinder Shapeability Shells.

Then I used my Viva Cream Pearl Pen to give the shell extra dimension.
(For us here in Europe Viva products can be found here at Elaine's Quixotic Paperie.)

When it was dry, I put on some Stardust Stickles,
and then - I got carried away and sprinkled some extra glitter on,
just to make sure it was sparkly enough! *LOL*
Of course I had to add a pearl to my shell, a Kaisercraft Pearl it is.

TIOT # 77 ~ In the Garden

Hi friends! Finally I was able find a tiny spot of time to make a new card! It's not easy these days with closed school and kindergarten, three boys wanting me to have a full day planned for them every day - exhausting!

Well, over to my card, it's a sketch challenge this week over at the SCACD store blog. Suzanne made this wonderful sketch for us.

I've used this sweet image New Home from the Hearts and Hugs - Summer Collection by Victoria Case for SCACD. Colored with my Prismas and cut out with Nestabilities dies. Papers are from the Hi Birdie pad by Kaisercraft, other products I've used is Prima Cameo roses, Kaisecraft rhinestones, laser cut butterfly by Karen Marie Klip and circle sentiment stamp by Catslife Press.

Make a Wish, Francesca! ~ Two Challenges

I love these fun and wonderful stamps by Kraftin' Kimmie, and this gal, Francesca, have been featured by me on a card I made three weeks ago. Actually this stamped image was meant to use on that card, but it was badly stamped, she missed some fingers... I sometimes play with my mishaps, use my drawing pen to add some extra, just for the fun of it. This time I decided to use the image on a card! I hope Kimmie won't mind my "make-over" of Francesca! (Please forgive me, but I had fun doing it!)*LOL* I have no shame, I'm entering it to the Kraftin' Kimmie Challenge blog! This week they ask us to use the color pink on our cards.
I also entered it to the CAS-tastic Challenge blog, they ask for CAS cards using kraft paper this week.

I've colored with my Prismas, added a Prima Cameo Rose, some Kaisercraft Pearls and the butterfly is my new punch, if you like it you can join my candy to win such a punch! Just click on the picture below my blog banner to get to the post. The sentiment is by Whipper Snapper Designs.
I get my Kraftin' Kimmie stamps at Susana's SCACD, you should check out the fabulous new mermaid stamps over there!

Here you can see how the "make-over" was done:
I gave her eyelids, eyelashes, new pupils, lips, a purse and new shoes. Fun!
