Welcome! ~ Velkommen!
Here, in my little corner of bloglandia, is my blog about my crafts. Until recentley I've blogged about my card making. Now, in 2011, I'll try to do different things also, such as sewing (patchwork), knitting, crochet, baking, along with some card making...

Kort med billett tutorial ~ Card with ticket tutorial

♥ ♥ ♥
Many of us have got these nice ticket stamps by Autmn Leaves, me too, but I do not have a punch or a die that fits the size. So I came up with a simple way to make them look a little more like tickets than what they do when I just cut them in rectangles. All pictures are clickable for a larger view.

Motivstemplet er Elle fra Rubber Romance ~ The image is Elle By Rubber Romance

Utstyret jeg bruker ~ The things I use

Stemple billettene ~ Stamp the tickets

Bruk linjal og tegn strek under og over og stiplet linje på sidene ~ Use a ruler and draw lines on top and bottom, and dotted lines on the sides

Punch så 4 hull i hjørnene ~ Punch 4 holes in the corners

Slik ~ Like this

Klipp etter linjene ~ Cut near the lines

Hekling ~ Crochet

I was asked by KortmaniTove to show my Grand Grannie Squares. I was going to make a afghan for my little rocking chair, and I did good when I started on it two years ago... But then I stopped - how strange! Well, perhaps I should start again, it would be nice to see the finished afghan. These are made of cotton yarn, needle #3, so it 'grows' pretty fast when I chrochet!

Punch fun! ☺

I like to use paper embellishments on my cards, yesterday I put a small heart on a card, here you can see.

I used two heart punches to make it, punch the smallest heart first, then the largest.

I've got a lot of punches, so I can do this 'technique' with other figures too. (Sorry about the blurry pictures...)

Til læreren ~ For the teacher

My son, Magnus, gets a new teacher in August, and his class have to say 'bye bye' to their dear teacher Elisabeth. They will give her a little present, and I made this card to go along with it.
The image is by hÄnglar & stÄnglar.
(The words on the tags say 'Thank You!' and the letters in the corner say 'hug'.)

Y Y Y

Finally I was able to finish a card, I'm not very creative these days... I drew the grass, flowers and ants myself. The pink clip is not as bright IRL as it shows on the scan.

Bilder fra Hellas ~ Pictures from Greece

It's now more than a week since we got back from our vacation, time flies!
We had a wonderful trip, and it was great to meet our Greek friends again.

Circle of Friends Award

I've been tagged by Kristin and Louise. Thanks girls!
I have seen this game in lots of blogs around,
so I will not tag any new bloggers
- but if you read this, and feel like having a go at the game,
please feel free to do so - tag along!

The rules of the game get posted at the beginning. Each player answers the questions about themselves. At the end of the post, the player then tags 5-6 people and posts their names, then goes to their blogs and leaves them a comment, letting them know they’ve been tagged and asking them to read your blog. Let the person who tagged you know when you’ve posted your answer.
