A new fabulous Friday, and a new fabulous sketch to play with at the Friday Sketchers blog made by super talented Jeanette from Canada!

On my card for today I used this fun and wonderful image by Eureka Stamps. A big happy bunch of cats, well, almost all of them look happy, all except ol' grumpy Grey! *LOL*

I also have a similar stamp with dogs, it too is sweet and fun!

TIOT # 52 ~ Bookmark

A new Try It Out Tuesday at the SCACD's DT, today we're making bookmarks!
I love to read books, but do not have the time, not during the day at least. My reading time is when I go to bed, I always have a book on the bedside table. So, when I was making a bookmark, I thought that I'll actually make something for my self!

Since reading is a night activity for me, this lovely image Lucy On The Moon by Faerie Song Art Stamps from SCACD was a perfect choice! I colored her with Prismacolor pencils, used many different Spellbinder Nestabilities to put this bookmark together - fun! I also added some Stickles and Kaisercraft Rhinestones.

Today I managed to find some time to make a card with this cutie pie Ian! I've had this stamp for ages, but never found time to use it. Hello Ian is from the Greeting Farm, love him! Colored with Prismacolor pencils. The sentiment is also by TGF.

TIOT # 51 ~ Altered Mousepad

Time for a new Try It Out Tuesday at SCACD! Today we were asked to alter something using one of the darling images of sweet Aurora. Well, I'm a card maker, and seldom do any altered objects, but when I saw this fun liquid mousepad in the store, I knew I had found my object for today's challenge! *LOL* It's a photo frame mousepad, so I thought it doesn't have to be a photo, a stamped and colored image will add a nice touch to my PC table.

I used Aurora with Tulips from the Aurora Collection, she's just the cutest lil' sprite! I love to work with her! Colored with Prismacolor pencils, cut her out with Nestabilites Labels 4. I added Stickles on the Tulips.
I hope this counts as an altered object, yes, I know, I took an easy way out! *LOL*

Blog Hop ~ Aurora Collection Release at SCACD!

It's now time for you all to meet the incredibly sweet Aurora, a little sprite! She's the new member of the stamp family at Susana's Custom Art & Card Design. Victoria Case is the talented designer of these wonderful stamps.

On my card I used the image called Aurora with Bird, and it's part of the Aurora Collection.
I colored with Prismacolor pencils, and cut her out with Nestabilities Labels 3. The sentiment is also by SCACD. I added a flower, lace, punched butterflies and leaves, and Kaisercraft Rhinestones and Pearls.

TIOT # 50 ~ Be Mine

A new TIOT for the SCACD's DT, a color challenge this time, we were to use Aqua, Coral (peach tones), and cream or white on our projects. Lovely colors, and I picked a lovely image for my card, the Heart Cloud Shy Bear. Perfect for Valentine cards! It's not like me to be finished early with my cards for special occasions, but here it is, a Valentines card, in good time! *LOL* Colored with Prismacolor pencils, cut out with Nestabilities Labels 2. In the flower center I put one of the gorgeous Primas Jewelry, and some Kaisercraft Pearls in one corner. I wrote the sentiment on the tag, and I added a golden heart charm in a corner of the image.

It's the first challenge at the Friday Sketchers blog this year! Claudia made this fun sketch for us, I really enjoyed making my card! I used the cute Manga Fairy by Sugar Nellie.
To make the big 'star', I adhered QuicKutz diecut hearts on the back of the octagon nestie diecut, the hearts were a perfect size!

TIOT # 49 ~ Welcome Puppy!

♥

Hello! We're back with new Try It Out Tuesdays at the SCACD Design Team! Today we were to make a welcome card or project. I made a card for a new family member, not for a baby but for a puppy! ;o) I love this stamp, it's called Jami from the Hearts and Hugs Series 2 by Victoria Case for SCACD. I cut her out with Nestabilities dies and colored as usual with my Prismacolor pencils. The love sentiment is by SCACD. The cute Prima Mini Roses are also available at Susana's, I put some Stickles on them, and in one corner I put some Bella Baubles. The heart and the bone are attached with Scrapper's Floss, can't live without that stuff!

Today, on the 2nd of January, the SCACD shop reopens after the holidays.
