Welcome! ~ Velkommen!
Here, in my little corner of bloglandia, is my blog about my crafts. Until recentley I've blogged about my card making. Now, in 2011, I'll try to do different things also, such as sewing (patchwork), knitting, crochet, baking, along with some card making...

Blog Hop ~ SCACD 2 Mini Releases ~ Elisabeth Bell & Victoria Case

Hi friends and welcome to this fun SCACD blog hop where you'll get to see the most adorable new stamp images! Today is the release of two mini sets of stamps, one designed by Ellisabeth Bell and the other by Victoria Case - fantastic talented ladies!

If you came here from the talented Danni's blog then you're right on track, if you just happened to stop by, you might want to go to the beginning of this blog hop, and that is fabulous Suzanne's blog.

I used one of the new stamps from the Victoria Case release today, it's called Spyder from the Little Acorns Set. I love the look of this little fellow, with his crooked smile he is just too cute. I colored him with my Prismas. The QuicKutz revolution spider web die fits perfect with these octagon Spellbinder Nestabilities dies. I decided to make the web white and not black, and I added lots of stickles to make it shimmer like the spider webs do IRL.

Thanks for looking at my card, your next stop is wonderful Dianne's blog.
Enjoy the rest of the hop!

On this picture you can see some of the glitter on the spider web...

The other mini stamp set in this release is called Elisabeth Bell for SCACD Mini Sampler #1.

Quixotic Paperie in the UK is closer for us here in Europe, so you can buy these stamps there and get them a bit faster in your mail box.

Here's the complete blog hop list if you get lost along the way:

Soooo - this week you can participate using my sketch, and you can use the color orange if you like.

I've used this wonderful and posh South End Witch image by Pixie Cottage on my card, colored with Prismacolor pencils.

From Winter to Fall...

This week the SCACD design team were to use a stamp for a different occasion than what it was meant for. So I chose this beautiful girl from the Winter Wonderland collection by Victoria Case, it's called Cocoa Puff, colored with Prismacolor pencils. I altered it a little bit to fit my autumn card. I put Flower Soft where there is snow, and a Prima flower where the poinsettia is. The circle tag is by Catslife Press. The patterned paper is shimmering so nice IRL, doesn't show in the pictures...

On the company blog Follow Your Heart you can see some wonderful DT projects!

Today the SCACD shop will open again, the maintenance is finished.

TIOT # 84 ~ Not Square - Not Rectangular...

This week on the DT challenge at SCACD we were to make a card in a different shape than square or rectangular. I've seen lots and lots of the fun easel cards around on blogs, but never made one my self, until now. I saw this great tutorial over at Kari's blog using Nestabilities to make a fun shape of the card.

This is the first X-mas card I'm making this year! Actually it was nice to dig out this wonderful stamp again, Cozy Winter by Serendipity Stamps, a great way to begin "the Season"!

Friday Sketchers # 119 ~ Sweet Pergamano Flower Girl

Finally a new card to post on my blog! I have been very busy lately, we celebrated my hubby's 50th birthday last weekend, so I had lots of things to do.

Today it's a DT card for the Friday Sketchers blog, and talented Jacque has made a fabulous sketch! I used one of the oh so cute Flower Girls by Pergamano from SCACD, colored with my Prismacolor pencils. I just love the summer feel to this image, can't let go of the summer just yet, and we've had a week of Indian summer, unusual at this time of the year, but sooo nice!
The sentiment is by Studio G, and the leaf stamp is by Aud Design. The lovely two colored mini roses was a gift from sweet Jacque, thanks hun!♥
