StampARTic Challenge ~ Game Night

Finally a new card, been a busy weekend with hubby's birthday party, lots of things for me to fix and arrange then...

This card is made for a sketch challenge at the stampARTic blog, great sketch! Used this fun stamp, Game Night, from the Hearts and Hugs Collection Series #2 by Victoria Case for SCACD, colored with prismacolor pencils.
Got to use my newest Nestabilities die, Label 9, I discovered that the Scalloped Octagons nesties are great as frames for the Label 9 nesties!
The ticket stamp is by Autumn Leaves.
Found these fun tiny playing cards in my stash, along with the sunflower button.
I'm a collecting gal' - so if I dig long enough in my piles of stash, I usually find something usable...

Cute Bear with Flowers

Hope everyone is having a wonderful week! Over here we're having nice, sunny early autumn days, with thunderstorms and buckets of rain late at night. Kind of fascinating!

Today I've made a birthday card with a cute Forever Friends bear, colored with Prismacolor pencils. The sentiment is one of my own designs, Aud Design. It's in Norwegian and goes something like this: A flourishing birthday greeting for you!

TIOT # 34 ~ Milla

Time for a new challenge at SCACD, we were to make cards without designer papers...
I pulled out my Distress Inks, sponges and some foam stamps - this takes me back some years, I used to make my own dp a lot in my "early stampin' days."

I've used this fabulous Milla stamp from the Hearts and Hugs Collection Series #2 by Victoria Case for SCACD. Milla is actually named after my niece Camilla, we call her Milla for short. I have to send a big hug to Susana, she liked my name suggestion, so now I have my self and one of my nieces as a stamp!

Well, back to my card - I colored Millla with Prisamcolor pencils, cut her out with Nestabilities dies. We were also to add a charm to our cards today, so I picked two cute hearts with some beads on a Scrapper's Floss thread. The sentiment is by Aud Design, added a flower, BossKut leaves, lace and ric rac ribbon and Kaisercraft pearls.

Sukker # 50 ~ Sugar #50

It's a sketch challenge this week over at Sukkersött bloggen / The Sugar Sweet blog.
I've fallen in love with the Wild Sprout stamps from The Greeting Farm, so I had to do one more card with one of these sweeties. Colored with my Prismacolor pencils, and once again a cool circle tag by Catslife Press.

I decided to do some hand stitching on this card, used Scrapper's Floss, but it didn't turn very well... So, I just made it look even more shabby by distressing the edges of the mid section. I think I'll use a regular sort of thread next time I decide to do some sewing on a card.

I got to use these fun Robin's Nest Tear Drops for the first time, they're really shiny little things!
(These are called Sunflower Seeds, quite suitable on a card with a cute little Wild Sprout!)

Friday Sketchers # 67

♥

A new fun sketch at Friday Sketchers this week! I used the cutie pie Megan from The Greeting Farm, colored her with Prismacolor pencils. Got to use some favorite things on this card; a cool circle tag stamp from Catslife Press, Nestabilities dies, MS butterfly punch, Kaisercraft pearls, Rock Fern and Daisy punches from EK Success, heart charm, and Stickles (on her bow).
I'll write the name and the age on the tag when I decide who to give the card to.

SFTW Challenge #12 ~ Taylor

It's the first time I enter a card to the Stampin' for the Weekend challenge blog, this week it's a color challenge, pink and grey, a lovely combo!
I 've been urging to use this fabulous Taylor stamp from the Hearts and Hugs Collection Series #2 by Victoria Case for SCACD for days now, she's just the cutest cowgirl in town!

Colored her with Prismacolor pencils, added a flower, paper embellies and brads. Tried to make it look like the horse charm is fastened with a rope... The sentiment is computer generated, font is Oklahoma.

These Hope & Grace images from The Greeting Farm are just so stinkin' cute, added butterflies and flowers, and then it was finished. Quite a simple and easy card, I know...

TIOT # 33 ~ Notebook

♥

A fun new challenge for SCACD's DT, make a notepad or a notebook cover. I chose to do the second one, a cover. I'll be giving this as a small gift to a friend. She got a puppy a few months ago, so this totally adorable stamp, Jami from the Hearts and Hugs Collection Series #2 by Victoria Case for SCACD, is just perfect for this project!
Colored as ususal with my Prismacolor pencils, used retro flower punches, QuicKutz swirls, Petaloo Mulberry flowers and brads.
