Welcome! ~ Velkommen!
Here, in my little corner of bloglandia, is my blog about my crafts. Until recentley I've blogged about my card making. Now, in 2011, I'll try to do different things also, such as sewing (patchwork), knitting, crochet, baking, along with some card making...

Rispose ~ Rice Bag

Made a long rice bag for microwave heating, guess it's most suitable to use on the neck, but it can warm any part of the body... First I sewed a bag from cotton canvas, made four "pockets" filled with rice, to prevent all the rice to gather in one end of the long bag. Then I made a bag of this jersey fabric to cover the inner bag.

Hi Aud, I love your rice buddy, here they are called bed buddy, used either hot or cold.. but they are just made of jersey fabric and not covered with cotton fabric which is sad because when they get dirty, we can't wash them and they got all to one end or the other.. love how you seperated yours into 4 seperate pockets.. really a smart idea... Great going girl... Love all your ideas and thought I would let you know I still keep up with you.
Hugs and love, Jean
