Try it out Tuesday #16 ~ Fairy Friends

It's Tuesday again and a new challenge for the SCACD DT. This time we were to use only half, or just a part of an image on our cards. Not so easy to cut the lovely image, I can tell you, but these fabulous Nestabilities makes it easier to do! I chose Dusk & Dawn by Faerie Song Art Stamps from Susana's , masked the moons away, and cut off the lower part of the image, colored with Prismacolor pencils.
I got to try out one of the new Impressabilities, embossed the pink paper with it, and sanded to get the pattern to show better. Embellished with Glitter Dots and Kaisercraft Rhinestones. Flowers by Prima, butterfly die and oval cookie cutter by QuicKutz, the sentiment is by Hero Arts. Made the beaded pin my self.

Try It Out Tuesday #15 ~ Sweet Baby

A new Tuesday and a new DT challenge at SCACD, - 'Bling It On!' We are to use lots of bling embellishments on our cards.
The image I used is super cute Rosebud Wears a Bow by Eat Cake Graphics from Susana's Custom Art & Card Design, colored with Prismacolor pencils. The sentiments are by Aud Design.
I made a 'stickles frame' on the image, and I put stickles on the heart charm. Added Bella Baubles and Swarcovski Crystals around the sentiment.
Got to use my new Nestabilities for the first time! =0)

Friends on a bench

Made this card for a friend. Used a great stamp by Rubber Romance, Girfriends On A Bench, from Susana's Custom Art & Card Design. The beautiful patterned paper is from a pack by Dovecraft and Laura Ashley. The sentiment is by Autumn Leaves.

Used Scrapper's Floss to decorate the flower. The floss was white, so I colored it green with a marker.

Try It Out Tuesday #14 ~ Make a Wish

First I'd like to thank all of you lovely people who visit my blog! You are all a big inspiration, and I so appreciate that you're stopping by! ♥

Try It Out Tuesday for Susana's DT this week is a sketch and a color challenge, brown, pink and cream. A great sketch to work with, ~ Thanks Suzanne ~, and yummy colors that I love to use! The stamp I've used is the beautiful Sassafras by Faerie Song Art Stamps from Susana's Custom Art & Card Design. I've had this lovely image for a while, and it was so nice to get to use it on this card. I colored with Prismacolor pencils like I do most of the times.
I used Kaisercraft Rhinestones in the flowers and as a corner decoration. Thread a few pearls on some Scrapper's Floss and attached it to the ribbon. The sentiment is by Whipper Snapper Designs.
I find that I use Nestabilities on almost every card I make these days, Susana has lots of Spellbinder products in her shop.

Try It Out Tuesday #13 ~ Shy Bear

The DT challenge this week at Susana's Custom Art & Card Design is to make a spring or an Easter card. My card can be both a spring and an Easter card, you're free to choose! =0)
I used this super cute Shy Bear stamp by I Brake For Stamps, colored with Prismacolor pencils. In the corners I put these awesome Kandi Tiger Eye Pearls. I found this great tip on the internet on how to make decorative corners using a Martha Stewart border punch. The butterfly is from a Karen Marie Klip sheet.

Sentiment, butterfly and flowers are made with QuicKutz rev. dies. The wonderful DP is from a Dovecraft and Laura Ashley Fantasy 8 X 8 Paper pack from Susana's store. I used Kaisercraft Rhinestones on the butterfly and in the corners of the card. Mulberry roses in the flower center.
(The image reminds me of Angelina Jolie, without tattoos...)
