Spring has sprung!

Today we, the DT at SCACD, were to make a spring or Easter gift, I'm not used to make anything special for Easter. Giving gifts or sending cards at Easter time is not something we do much here in Norway, usually we just decorate our homes with bunnies, chickens, feathers, eggs, flowers and everything colored yellow. So I decided to make a spring card instead.
A bit early to announce the spring yet, but I just felt like starting to use the wonderful word!



I used Little Danni With Butterfly from the Hearts & Hugs - Spring Collection by Victoria Case for SCACD. Colored with my Prismas and cut out with Nestabilities labels 10. The sentiment is computer generated, and the leaves are stamped with Aud Design stamps and cut out. I've used Prima roses, Kaisercraft pearls and rhinestones, Petaloo Wild Roses, background paper and button is by BasicGrey, put Scrapper's Floss on the button, and added lots of Stickles! Butterflies are from a lasercut sheet by Karen Marie Klip.

TIOT # 59 ~ Movie Challenge

First I'd like to say a big thank you to all my visitors! And big hugs to those of you leaving a comment, I so appreciate it!

This week we (SCACD's DT) had quite a challenge on our hands: Pick a movie you love and create a project/card with the movie theme in mind - with one of the new stamps from the Spring Collection!

It took some time to figure out a movie to fit one of the images, but suddenly it came to me; Bridge to Terabithia and the girl on the swing. The cute image is called Little Carolyn from the Hearts & Hugs - Spring Collection by Victoria Case for SCACD. I used my wonderful new set of border/corner punches by Martha Stewart - they are from the blog candy I won at sweet Jacque's blog earlier. (Thanks a bunch, hon!)
Papers are from the Origins pad by BasicGrey. I used some Kaisercraft Pearls, and Prima roses, flowers and Karen Marie Klip butterflies. The cool circle sentiment is by Catslife Press.

Blog Hop ~ SCACD ~ Victoria Case

Hello dear Friends, Welcome! A new Friday, a new blog hop and a new stamp release at SCACD! It's the magical Victoria Case who has designed this wonderful Spring Collection, and once again I fell in love!♥ The images are just the cutest ever!

I have the honor of openning the blog hop this time, so here's the first stop of the hop!
On my card I used a sweet and wonderful image, and you know what? It's named after me! Little Aud is the name, I colored 'me' with Prismacolor pencils, cut out with Nestabilities label 8. Other supplies I've used are Kaisercraft pearls, Prima roses, Stickles, Karen Marie Klip butterflies, ribbon, flowers, punch.

The TIOT challenge for SCACD's DT today is to use buttons on our cards. Great! I love buttons!
I used the cute image Oh Baby from the Sampler Edition 3 by Elisabeth Bell for SCACD. Colored with Prismacolor pencils and cut out with Nestabilities dies. Along with flowers, ribbon, and buttons I used Magic Mesh, some Prima roses and a Kaisercraft Pearl. The butterfly is also a button.

Friday Sketchers # 92 ~ You Make Me Giggle

A new fun sketch over at the Friday Sketchers blog, made by our sweet and fabulous Claudia! I have to apologize for being one day late with my card, but life this week has just been too crazy busy...

I used this over-the-top cute image called Best Friends by Whipper Snapper Designs, the sentiment (which I love) is also from that company. I colored as usual with my Prismacolor pencils, cut out with Nesties labels 3, and added some flowers and roses, pearls and a charm, all from my favorite shop SCACD. Had to put on Stardust Stickles here and there, it's so pretty!

TIOT # 57 ~ Sweet Bunnie

A fun color challenge this Tuesday at the SCACD DT. We were to use pink, sage/moss green and cream/white. I used the sweet Bunnie image from the Sampler Edition 3 by Elisabeth Bell for SCACD. Colored with Prismacolor pencils and cut out with Nestabilities dies. I played with Magic Mesh, Dottie Ann glitter, punched two large photo corners, I also put Dottie Ann on pink paper and punched the flowers.
