Welcome! ~ Velkommen!
Here, in my little corner of bloglandia, is my blog about my crafts. Until recentley I've blogged about my card making. Now, in 2011, I'll try to do different things also, such as sewing (patchwork), knitting, crochet, baking, along with some card making...

Viva Blog Hop with Candy!

From Susana and Elaine:

Quixotic Paperie owned by the Fabulous Elaine and our Susana of SCACD have been partnering on efforts behind the scenes such that they consider each other International Sister Stores. They are combining efforts on certain mutual adventures starting with this awesome Viva Blog Hop which of course involves Yummy Candy!! So make sure you stop at BOTH store Blogs SCACD, Follow Youre Heart and Quixotic Paperie Inspirations. You will have a chance to win a set of 3 of the most popular Pens - (Ice White Pearl pen, Holographic Glitter pen and the Clear Gloss gel pen). So each Store Blog will offer up one chance to win the set. How Yummy is that?!! The candy will run thru the 31st.
All you have to do is answer a question at each store blog - 1 entry at each STORE blog per person please!

OK, over to the blog hop and my card! If you came here from fabulous Kim Dellow's blog, then you're right on track, if you just happened to stop by, you might want to go to the beginning of this blog hop, and that is the Quixotic Paperie store blog.

On my card I used the sweet mermaid Marina by Kraftin' Kimmie stamps from SCACD, colored with my Prismas. I've added Stickles to the fins on both Marina and her fish friend, but the photos doesn't show it much...On the "seafloor" of my card I used chunky glitter by Martha Stewart, just perfect, I think! (You can get this fun product at SCACD now with a large discount!)

The tiny star fishes are Cuttlebug die cuts that I put Viva Glitter Liner on.
(For us here in Europe Viva products can be found here at Elaine's Quixotic Paperie.)
My bubbles are lovely Kaisercraft Rhinestones, they can be used for so many things these little gems, love 'em!The Marina stamp can be found along with other great Kraftin' Kimmie stamps right here at Quixotic Paperie.

Here I'll show you how I made my shell:
I cut it with the fab Spellbinder Shapeability Shells.

Then I used my Viva Cream Pearl Pen to give the shell extra dimension.
(For us here in Europe Viva products can be found here at Elaine's Quixotic Paperie.)

When it was dry, I put on some Stardust Stickles,
and then - I got carried away and sprinkled some extra glitter on,
just to make sure it was sparkly enough! *LOL*
Of course I had to add a pearl to my shell, a Kaisercraft Pearl it is.

For more tips on how to use the Viva Decor products,
here are some links to tutorials/videos:

Thanks for looking at my card, your next stop on this blog hop
is my very talented friend Judy!
